With more than 45 years of experience in hot air ballooning, Bill Broker is one of the most respected and trusted figures in the sport. He earned his pilot’s certificate at the age of 16 and has since dedicated his life to every aspect of ballooning - from flying and teaching to maintenance and repair. 

In 1990, Bill earned his FAA Repairman Certificate, and in 2016, he founded Uplifting Adventures, a full-service repair and support center serving balloonists across Texas and throughout the United States. 

Bill is widely known for his technical expertise, integrity, and unwavering passion for ballooning. A familiar presence at ballooning events nationwide, he continues to operate corporate-sponsored balloons, special shapes, and tether rides. He is also a committed mentor to new pilots and a deeply engaged member of the ballooning community. He is also known as Billy Billy.
