Welcome to the 43rd Hungarian Hot Air Balloon Championships, which will be held in Kapsovár, Hungary, from 23 to 26 May 2024.

We welcome competitors from Hungary and, if possible, from abroad.

• 17:00- General Briefing
• 18:30- Opening Ceremony

Friday, 24/05/2024, Saturday, 25/05/2024

• 05:00- Competition briefing and flight
• 17:00- Competition briefing and flight

Sunday, 26/05/2024

• 05:00- Competition briefing and flight
• 12:00- Closing Ceremony

Conditions for participation of competitors:

Maximum number of teams : 20, the places 1 to 12 will be reserved for Hungarian pilots for 15/03/2024

BalloonLiveSensor and BalloonLiveApp will be used during the competition. 

Registration fee for pilots of the Hungarian Aeronautical and Airsport Association: 115.000,- HUF (about 300 EUR)

Registration fee for other pilots: 155.000,- HUF (about 400 EUR)    

The registration fee includes:

• Electronic map
• Light Breakfast and two additoinal meals for the pilot and 2 team members – /additional person +15.000,- HUF (about 38 EUR)/ 
• Opening and closing ceremony of the event
• Gas for competition flights (first filling after first flight)
• accommondation (two double rooms per teams in the MATE Campus)
