We invite you again to the Croatia Hot Air Balloon Open Championship in the city of Prelog. This wonderful town in the north of Croatia is only a couple of hours away from the location of this year's Europeans in Austria. The event combines the excitement of competition with the serenity of soaring above the picturesque Croatian landscapes.
Competitors are in for a treat with a sizable prize pot, a world-class competition organization under our experienced director Christoph Fraisl and his team, along with free gas, and accommodation (pilot + 3) included in the entry fee.
We promise not only intense competition but also a vibrant fiesta program, adding a festive touch to the event. Following the success of three previous editions, it draws tens of thousands of spectators on four days of competition, fiesta flights, concerts, and a rich social program. The town of Prelog is balloon-friendly, and the people in the Međimurje region are welcoming you to bring colors to their skies once again this year. Registrations are open and the number of competition places is limited to 20 teams.

Rules and Regulations: | AX Model Event Rules in English. BalloonLiveSensor and BalloonLiveApp will be used during the competition. |
Registration: | The event is open to all international pilots with FAI sports licenses with a minimum of 50 hours. Maximum 20 participants. Registration only via the watchmefly! You will receive payment information after registration. Your entry will be considered accepted as soon as the payment is received. |

Gas information
Refueling before the first task flight is possible during check-in hours. Last refueling Saturday PM. before the last competition flight.
Pilots participating in the night glow will have refueling available on Sunday after the morning flight and after the evening glow.
Outside of the competition schedule, before or after the event, pilots can refuel LPG at a local gas station at their own cost.
Additional information!
On Sunday all pilots are asked to participate in the night glow. For pilots participating in the glow acommodation until Monday as well as refueling after the glow will be available!
Accomodation
Pilots will be hosted in Hotel Panorama**** (Competition Centre location), Hotel Kralj***, and Hostel Green **. You can choose your preference. First come first served.

Fiesta
Alongside the competition, there will be an open Fiesta program with a maximum of 10 balloons attending. Free accommodation, gas and social program included with participation in two night glows.
