New Rule - 12.11.3
Please see the formal request, and jury approval, of rule 12.11.3. The new rule is as follows:
12.11.3 If no mark has been achieved the competitor will be
scored to her next mark in time or landing position, whichever is best.
Red Road PZ Policy
The ground level for all Red Road PZs will be considered 1,000' MSL.
Penalties will be assessed within a 250' (approx. 76.2 meters) radius "dome" (white semi circle) from the centerline.
Minimum altitude required over the centerline will be 1,250' MSL

Balloon Live Resources
The Logger used in this Event is the FAI Balloon Live App (BLA) with a connected Balloon Live Sensor (BLS).
Each competitor will need to supply their own smart device (phone or tablet) that is Wi-Fi capable at the very least. A dedicated device so that the BLA can run in the foreground at all times is highly recommended. The BLA, which is available for iOS and Android, must be installed by each competitor beforehand on their own device. For those competitors who do not have their own BLS, one will be available for rent from the HACD at check-in by Event Staff.
Every competitor MUST familiarize themselves with the set up and use of the App and Sensor prior to the competition.
