I grew up as a son of a passionate hot air balloon pilot. I was fascinated by hot air balloon and gas balloon competitions since I was a child.

After getting my license in 2010 I startet competing soon.
 

I achieved several top ten finishes at World and European Championships in hot air ballooning and became European Champion in 2021. I also won the Swiss National Championships in 2021. My best result in a World Championship was 4th place in 2018.

I have been co-pilot in two Gordon Bennett gas balloon races and have been in a successful strategy team in seven races.

I love the challenge of trying to steer a balloon to a place I want it to be.
