Organisers Event Experience:
In 1983, a group of Hot Air Balloon enthusiasts who lived in and around Jackson came up with the dream of a family friendly event for the Jackson Community. The Hot Air Jubilee (HAJ) was born. Since then the HAJ has grown to an event that thousands of people attend every summer. 25-30 Balloons come in from around the country to participate in the friendly rivalry of the contests.
The HAJ is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization operated by committed volunteers. Its success is made possible through the generous sponsorships and donations from individuals who recognize the significance of fostering community events and appreciate the splendor of hot air balloons gracing the sky.
The HAJ has successfully hosted the 2023 to 2025 BFA US Women’s National Hot Air Balloon Championship and will do so again in 2026.
