Safety Plan and Risk Assessment
Summary of the organizers Safety Plan / Risk Assessment
Event safety will be managed under ASG’s Safety Management System (SMS), aligned with ICAO SMS principles and the CIA Safety Officer Handbook. Key elements:
o Governance: Clear roles & responsibilities for the Safety Manager, Safety Officer and Safety Action Group (SAG).
o Safety risk management (pre-event and ongoing):
o Hazard identification;
o Risk assessment (likelihood x severity);
o Selection and implementation of risk controls/mitigations.
o Emergency preparedness: A coordinated Emergency Response Plan (ERP) with local medical, fire, security and other authorities, including call-out procedures and on-site coordination.
o Resources: Appropriate medical, fire and security personnel and equipment at relevant venues and activities.
o Safety assurance: Continuous monitoring by Event Safety Officials, daily safety briefings, occurrence reporting, and incident/accident investigations with corrective actions.
o Safety promotion: A “just culture” enabling all participants to report hazards and occurrences without fear of unfair punishment.

Media Rights:
Subject to final budget approval, event coverage could look like:
o Integrated content production: In-house and contracted crews delivering live/near-live coverage daily highlights and post-produced features;
o PR and digital campaign: A retained agency managing proactive media relations, social content and paid/organic promotion;
o Accredited media partners: Invited broadcast, print and digital outlets covering on site, supported with a media centre, daily briefings and rights-cleared assets.
Commercial Rights:
Subject to final budget confirmation, the Championship will be financed through a diversified mix of sponsorships, host-destination support, sport-entity grants, ticketing, hospitality and catering rights, and on-site commercial activities.

The aim is to (subject to availability and confirmed in the Invitation/Event Regulations) cover in-country costs for teams and officials (e.g. accommodation, full board, local transport, propane, competition services).
