Joey fell in love with hot air ballooning when he saw his first balloon event in Howell, MI at age 3. After being invited onto the launch field by a pilot at age 7, he instantly knew he wanted to be a pilot. He achieved this dream, and earned his private pilot’s certificate at 18 years old. Joey is an avid competitor, and loves traveling to different balloon events across the United States to hone in his flying skills. He is also the graphic designer for Cameron Balloons US.
